About Me

I'm Sümeyye Düzenli, most people know me as Sümy (Suemi). I'm Turkish, grew up in Berlin, and drawing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It was always girls, female characters, faces. Something about it intrigued me more than anything else ever did.

For years drawing stayed something I did on the side, not something I really called a practice. Recently I picked up a brush and started painting with acrylics, and it changed a lot. My first real painting, "Just a Girl," went out into the world further than I expected.
